It is possible to use AppFlowy completely offline and store all the data locally. However, for synchronization across multiple devices, especially mobile, you do need to login, and the login is associated with email account

Hi fellows, hope you all are in good cheer :slightly_smiling_face:
Looking for task/project/knowledge management, after Trello (excellent, but unsure about privacy), and Obsidian (huge pluglin list, but complicated and unintuitive to use), I have reached Appflowy.

Before other things need to get know some basics, if someone can spare the time:
Questions:

  • Are Appflowly files stored locally, for me to use Syncthing to sync between PC and Android?
  • Can I use the PC and Android App without logins or connecting my email accounts?
  • Can Appflowy show reminders on the Android app?
