Hello, thank you so much for this break down. It makes sense so far, but one issue with this is that the filter can only be applied once in the TASKS view, not for any other view after the first

Quoted:
The ideology behind having “Views” for the same database, is to apply different filters on per view to more easily read the data that you need.

There is no way to keep the “task” separate from each view, they all exist in the same database. Consider a View to be just a different window in the same car.

There is a way you can achieve what you want to do, by adding filters.

I suggest your first View to be your primary view, where all ungrouped tasks can be found.

  1. In any view, create a new property on any Task, change it to type “Select”. I will name it “Owner”, and I will create 5 options in this select, namely: “TALENTS & GUESTS”, “VOICE ACTORS”, “COSPLAYERS”, “PERFORMERS”, “PANELISTS”. When you have a Select field, you must remember that an empty Select is also a type, so in reality you will have 6 options, empty + the other five we just created. This is also why I want to have my first view called “Tasks”, because this is where I will find ownerless tasks that still haven’t been assigned an owner yet.

  2. We can leave the status empty for all tasks for now, let’s go to the first view “Tasks”, in the same bar where you have the views, all to the right, you will find two option buttons, filter and settings. Hit “Filter”, and click on the field we just created “Owner”. This will create a filter on that type.

  3. A bar will pop up, open the menu for the Owner filter, and set the condition to Is empty. Now repeat for the other views, go to VOICE ACTORS, hit the “Filter” button, tap Owner, go to the filter menu for Owner, and press on the VOICE ACTORS option. Rinse repeat until all views are setup accordingly.

You can also setup a final view where there is no filter, so you can keep a “grand overview” of all tasks.

Hope this made sense to you :slightly_smiling_face:
