Is there no way to just keep the url the same but still serve the updated content?

When a page is published, a copy of the content is saved. We serve the publish page based on the copy, instead of the actual content of the page

Question: If I publish a page that already has a content from the desktop app. Then say for example I make an update to that published page on the desktop app.
Would I need to re-publish the page?

Yeah imagined that it would be tricky in the current data model. Was just thinking out loud because I think the idea is powerful and has potential. Will open a FR once on the laptop (no GitHub login on the phone for me)

There's also another aspect - I am not sure if I want to see hundreds of child documents under the navigation plane 😅

Meanwhile, let me check if there is a way you can share the link to the page associated with the row directly. I believe that's doable on AppFlowy Web

Though we cant jump to the document directly on the desktop app, without going to the row first

I also need to check if we can actually reference/mention those row document - as far as I know we can't

Will have to brainstorm a bit to see what we need to change in order to achieve what you requested. But meanwhile, can you create a feature request?

I.e. A row/task id is always associated with one unique document id, and if that id exists the card can be expanded to view the document

I think this would be a strong pattern not seen that often elsewhere (I think confluence has something like it, let me see if I can find it in the docs)

When I have a grid/board with cards I can open them as individual pages but I cannot share them etc nor do they show up in the navigation pane in the left. What do you think about making those cards first class pages and children of the parent page?

Granted might need some more thinking when it comes to multiple views but the grand idea that I'd be imagining is the following:

Let's say you have some pages and you can assign metadata to them (basically key value pairs like status:done etc...). Then you could create a board/grid from the metadata of those pages etc

I would assume, that it shouldn't be the case? Or do you mean, it should be available for link to page, but clicking on it would result in "No Access Error"?

For "Andy's Tasks", assuming if it is private to you only, should it be available for link to page option, in a page that is visible by the others?

I have recently been tasked to work on better access control. Let me look into this

For now, it is not possible, though I am currently tasked with implementing fine grained permission control

Let's say I want the team to have access to this "Tasks" page, they can also access "General Tasks" but only me can access "Andy's tasks". Is that possible?
